The Wisconsin Alliance for Infant Mental Health (WI-AIMH) strives to promote social and emotional wellness of infants, young children in the context of the most important relationships. Through its strategic plan, WI-AIMH has identified public awareness/messaging as one of their key priorities. ACS developed communication materials and a strategy to help WI-AIMH raise its profile and increase awareness about infant mental health in the state of Wisconsin among policymakers, the professional community, and families. Armed with an intentional communication plan, WI-AIMH has begun to raise their profile in Wisconsin and nationally. Executive Director Lana Nenide was honored as a ZERO TO THREE fellow, and she was a panelist for the national ZERO TO THREE conference in December 2016 for the session Be a Better Spokesperson for Infant and Toddlers.

Outcomes to date:

  • Developed communication plan that includes goals, strategies, activities, and a monthly timeline.
  • Created communication collateral and messaging unique to WI-AIMH.
