Our founding partners, Lori McClung and Scarlett Bouder, have worked together as staffers, business partners or coordinated stakeholders for more than a decade. Their experience reflects more than 30 combined years as legislative and communication staffers and leaders within the education, health and human services and workforce and economic development sectors at the local, state and national level. Individually and as a team, the common thread throughout this experience is a commitment to helping organizations understand the power, importance and value added of strategic advocacy and communication.

Advocacy & Communication Solutions (ACS) was incorporated after several years of planning to ensure the construction of a firm that could address the needs of clients within a limited, but purposeful, portfolio structure. Our founding partners have held multiple leadership positions in their fields—developing a unique understanding of what is demanded of our clients each day to further the mission of their organizations. Lori and Scarlett understood early on that the key to success for the company, their clients and the issues would require engaging only a limited number of contracts to ensure each client is guaranteed direct interaction with founding partners on a regular basis. ACS has no interest in securing a massive share of the consulting sector—we believe in quality over quantity to advance their clients’ missions.

The ACS team has a fundamental belief that our success and that of our clients is directly related to having been in their shoes.
